Question

@Nancy OShea , sorry Nancy and other english spoken folks, but it was easiest for me to answer such a questions in french to a french OP.

Could you copy the code of the page and paste it here so that we can see what is going on.

Cmd + Z = Undo.

If you closed the file, revert to a backup file from your remote server or backup system.

That said, nobody uses tables for layouts anymore.  Modern websites use CSS layouts.

It goes without saying that you're using outdated software from 20 years ago.  Why?  The web has changed a lot in 20 years.  You need modern tools to build modern sites.  Or use an online site builder.

Hi,

Thank you for your answer but this does not solve the problem. I can not revert to the back up because I have done a lot of work on many pages since I made the back up. I know that my Dreamweaver is 20 + years old but it does the job. I am not a developer, just a model cars collector and I have writen the catalogue with Dreamweaver. With i'ts 3 300 pages and 10 000 + large colour pictures, it looks like a web site but it is available only on USB sticks.
The bug must be writen on some invisible page which is the root of the site. It is this page which I must copy from the back-up but where is this file and what is it's name ?

Kind regards.

Can you open your HTML files in another code editor?
