Can you please help and old man of 82?

I have been forced onto Windows10 and it appears I can no longer use my beloved Macromedia8

Whatever alternative I have looked at, I cannot get it to take over the fabulous ability of Macromedia8 to track each item in the web site

My sites are totally private, non commercial

Is there ay way to sort out mu dilemma?

HTML, CSS and JavaScript are standard coding languages recognized by all code editors.  However proprietary features like DW Templates or Library Items will have no support from other editors.

You could try DW CC 2019 free for 7 days to see if you like it.   But brace yourself, a lot has changed in web technology since DW 8 came out in 2005.   If you're not happy with the trial for any reason, be sure to cancel it before the 7th day otherwise it will convert to a paid subscription.

Thank you for responding.

The monthly cost for this as shown on

https://www.adobe.com/uk/creativecloud/plans.html?single_app=dreamweaver&promoid=MC95SNWP&mv=other

and I have no idea which of the options would come into play

Photography

Single App

Photoshop + one App plan

All Apps

ranges from £9.98 to £49.94 per month

That is absolutely prohibitive for a programme I

need to use once in a blue moon

The Photography plan doesn't include Dreamweaver.

Dreamweaver as a Single App pre-paid costs US $240 per year or US $21/month for 12 months..

If you can code but seldom use the software, try Microsoft VS Code or Adobe Brackets, both free.

Visual Studio Code - Code Editing. Redefined

Brackets - A modern, open source code editor that understands web design.
