Question

dreamweaver card shift

Hi, my url is www.bberryfarms.org.
It's running just fine online with ionos. I think I've somehow corrupted the
BOOTSTRAP file that is referenced by the .html files. After introducing a new bootstrap .html file into the folder, all of the .html files with "cards" shifted the "card" images to the right to about half their width.
This shows up in live view as well as preview.
Is it possible to replace the bootstrap file once it's been corrupted? ... or something??
I have screen shots if it helps.

Thanks
Lance

Yes of course its possible to replace the Bootstrap css file once its become corrupted.......what makes you think its become corrupted? Have you opened it and changed it, which of course you should never do!

You're using version 4.4.1 so link to the cdn (content delivery network) online version of the css file. That's what you should be doing anyway, rather than linking to a local version:

    <link href="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/twitter-bootstrap/4.4.1/css/bootstrap.css" rel="stylesheet">

See if that rectifies the layout issue locally - if not then your actually code is corrupted BUT it displays correctly once online.

I think the layout problem is caused by Code Errors; not Bootstrap.

    See details below.

    https://validator.w3.org/nu/?doc=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.bberryfarms.org%2F

Fix all reported code errors and upload your document again.

Post back if you still need help. We'll take another look.

Layout appears to be ok once online, this shift is happening at local level, I think, certainly in DW - I dont know what the 127.blah blah server is........is it a local server DW fires up or just a local server like XAMPP.

I don't waste time troubleshooting files that contain code errors because 9 times out of 10, that's the main problem.  Once code errors are eliminated from the equation, we can take a closer look at other things that can effect layout such as orphaned tags, conflicting CSS, etc...
