Dreamweaver causes my PC to hang

I just installed this last week, and it's continually causing my PC to stop responding.  I have to run Task Manager to get it to stop.  That's getting really old.  I'm on Windows 10 newest version as of 3/2/2020.  This is ludicrous for an application that costs this much to function this way.  What do I need to do to get it to work correctly?

I'm on Windows 10 with latest updates and have no problems running DW.  So something is different at your end.

  • Turn off all non-essential background processes.
  • Try booting up in Safe Mode.
  • Or contact technical support and let them figure out which app is conflicting with DW.
