Dreamweaver CC 2017.0.1 and Extension Manager.

It's confusing for me. Does Adobe still offering or giving support to Adobe Extension Manager (*zxp extension)? If it's so, is it available for Dreamweaver CC 2017.01? I guess that now the extensions are gotten from Adobe Add Ons, right? But some extensions coming from Extend Studio or a Free PHP Gallery, require Dreamweaver version 9 or higher! and I have the last one. How come this contradiction?

The confusing thing is that the same developers are promoted in the Adobe AddOns site and they recommend to use the extension manager in case we have troubles of installation. So, Adobe Sys. do not event verify if the third party extensions are fully installable with the correct extension managers or "helpers"? Or do I need downgrade my DW version only to use those extensions...? And the widget of the applications in the AddOn site says that they support CC 2017.

Orientations, please. Extension Manager still works with DW CC 2017.0.1? My experience states that No. Thanks for your patience.

PD. Of course, I am going to write to the developer too. Many of them don't even offer a trial or lite version.

I have used the DMXZone extension for other extensions and I believe that PVII does the same.

Extensibility is part of what made Dreamweaver attractive to a lot of developers, it is a pity that Adobe has not realised this when they say Adobe Exchange.

However, PVII and DMXZone have come good with their free-of-charge Extension Manager that can be used for Dreamweaver.

Thank You. So, does it mean that I have to use also the plugins or extensions developed by DMXZone or PVII (responsive menu builders, photo galleries, etc.? Or I can try using my current extensions of different developers like Solutions4Websites (S4W)?
