Dreamweaver CC 2017 BEX64 Error - Windows 7

Okay, so I just purchased CC yesterday and installed Dreamweaver.  Program starts and goes through the initial questions.  I selected start a new file and the program immediately stops working.

As a note, I have followed every suggested remedy I could find.

1) Lavasoft is not and never has been installed.

2) GPU is a MSI R9 280X and is running the latest AMD drivers.

3) ASUS mother board internal graphics is uninstalled.

4) Deleted all CC applications and used the cleaner.  Reinstalled on Dreamweaver ... same results.

5) Reset config file.

6) Intel drivers (Z68) and i5 2500k) are the latest available

Getting really frustrated after 5 hours of trying to find a solution and being in Q for support but never actually getting a support person to start chatting.  I know you likely need more information on the exact version of Dreamweaver but since I can never get to the point of looking at the menu ... I can't access that information for you.

Anyone that can help I would greatly appreciate it.  All other CC products work fine including Premier Pro that seems like the application that most people experience this problem.  It just drives me nuts that I can run AutoCAD Inventor and render 3D graphics but I cant get an IDE to load from Adobe.

I realize you may need more information so please ask and I will provide it ... just do not want to type a book of information that would not be helpful without knowing exactly what one might need to help me resolve this.

Thanks in Advance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you tried installing any of the previous DW versions available through your CC Subscription?

At least you might be able to get some work done until the problem with the most recent version is figured out.

As a CC subscriber, you can have all 5 Cloud versions of DW installed at the same time on the same machine under a single subscription (CS6 Cloud, CC, CC2014, CC2015 and CC2017). They just won't run at the same time, if you get CC2017 running that is.

Here's how you get the older (possibly stable on your system) versions...

This sounds like a graphics card (AMD) conflict. Make sure that you have installed the latest drivers. After that try setting Dreamweaver.exe to compatibility mode for "windows 7"

Wappler is the DMXzone-made Dreamweaver replacement and includes the best of their powerful extensions, as well as much more!

Thanks for the response Ben.

I have tried both.  I tried multiple versions of the graphics driver just in case one was compatible versus the newest driver.  I also tried compatibility settings.  None of them worked.

What confuses me is that it only occurs with Dreamweaver which is not a graphic intensive application.  If it was having the issue with Premier Pro I might understand it more since there would be a heavy dependence on GPU performance ... but Dreamweaver?

Any other ideas?  I would really like to get this going versus having to cancel the entire subscription and roll back to my previous version of CS.
