Dreamweaver CC 2018 - Linting timing out

I am consistently getting time out message for Linting in Dreamweaver CC 2018. I saw some old mentions of this in 2015 but nothing for 2018. The 2015 suggestion said to create a NodePort.json file with a port value in it. That didn't work. Also my PC is a standalone one with no port blocking.

Are there any new suggestions applicable to Dreamweaver CC 2018 relating to linting timing out?

1) what is the OS you are using?

2) what is the Dreamweaver version are you using

Can you please try clearing Dreamweaver Preferences and see if it resolves the issue:

Unusual behavior in Dreamweaver? Try restoring preferences.

Windows 10 - current maintenance

Dreamweaver CC 18.2

I'll try resetting preferences. The Linting time out doesn't happen all the time. So it will take a while to see if the reset has any effect.
