Dreamweaver CC 2018 mounts Chrome installer on startup

I have been unsuccessful in finding any guidance on this issue online so far, so my apologies if this is a stupid/beginner question but I'm hoping someone can answer.

Every time I launch Dreamweaver CC 2018 (Mac OS), it mounts a Chrome installer and attempts to have me install the browser. However the browser is already installed on my machine and I've confirmed its up to date. I cannot find any options in the preferences that would explain why this is happening; is it possible to deactivate this prompt somehow? It seems to slow down the launch process and at times I am unable to "eject" the installer once it appears on my desktop.

Dreamweaver does not contain or activate any Chrome installers.  So I'm inclined to think that this could be a computer virus.
