Dreamweaver CC and Office 365

Dreamweaver CC doesn't display the Import Word or Import Excel options. Apparently it's not recognizing Office 365, which is what our company uses. How do I fix this?

Unfortunately, it doesn't have anything to do with Office 365, Adobe has removed those options from the program.

There are a couple other ways to deal with Microsoft's "interesting" html formatting though...

One way is to copy the info from the .htm file open in Word (Ctrl + C) then move over to DW and choose Edit > Paste Special (Ctrl + Shift + V). That allows you to bring over just text, text+structure, text+structure and basic formatting, or text+full formatting.

Another, less useful option, would be to open the Word .html file in DW and choose Tools > Clean Up Word HTML.

If lacking the options is a major issue for your workflow, you can have both versions installed on your machine. As a paid subscriber, you actually have access to all 5 cloud versions of DW and can have each of them installed on the same machines, at the same time, under a single license. They won't run at the same time, bu you'd have access to the old import options under CC 2015. Here's how you reinstall older versions...

When installing newer versions, be sure to click on the Advanced Options link in the installation dialogue. That will allow you to turn off the "Remove Older Versions" checkbox that usually deletes all older versions of the program with each new version installed.
