Dreamweaver Crashes since the Latest Update
Dreamweaver CC (2017) keeps crashing on Windows 10 upon opening certain files or saving a new file with certain code in it. It started happening since the latest updates were installed (yesterday). After countless crashes, uninstalling, reinstalling, clearing cache, deleting Personal Configuration folder I have narrowed it down to this:
ANY file that has a php tag (<?php) and uses certain meta tags will crash the program as soon as the file is opened (Message: Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2017 has stopped working).
Here is the code that causes it:
<?php
// do nothing
?>
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<head>
<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"/>
<title>Test</title>
</head>
<body>
Lorem ipsum...
</body>
</html>
It's not limited to opening an already existing file with this code. If I paste the above code and try to save, it also crashes Dreamweaver.
Note: I did not encounter this issue before the latest update yesterday, 4/10/17.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any possible solutions? Thanks.
