Dreamweaver crashes when saving

Up to date Dreamweaver CC running on MacBook Pro (15" 2016) w/ macOS High Sierra

I work in Split mode.

On opening Dreamweaver shows the Design but takes a lot of time to display the code side of the screen.

Dreamweaver randomly crashes when saving html files.

Anybody's having the same problem ?

    High Sierra and DW don't seem to get along very well. There have been numerous reports of just odd behavior with DW under the latest Mac OS.

    Have you tried clearing the program cache or restoring preferences to see if that helps at all?

    DW has crashed upon saving files well before High Sierra. It has done so on my 2011 MacBookAir, an iMac and my 2014 MacBook Air - wirh every MacOS since 2010.
