Hi, I have an old DW CS3.

But I 'like to use it again.

I have serial number. What can I do?

To install CS3 or Acrobat 8, go to this page...

...and follow the instructions given here...

Essentially, what you'll be doing, is downloading an offline-activated version of the software and using your current activation info to get an offline activation number. You will no longer install from your disks, but from the download available at the first link above.

CS3 activation servers were taken offline.  You will need to obtain a new installer and serial number. The correct answer below will take you through all the steps.

    Re-activating CS3 (Updated)

Keep in mind, CS3 is 11 year old software.  It might not be compatible with newer OSs.

It likely depends upon what your current computer operating system is. If you are running Windows 10 or the latest or fairly recent Mac OS, there is a good possibility that your operating system will not be compatible with CS3. If you are still running an older system, the answer is still maybe, yet again unlikely, because the install process will attempt (and fail) to connect with Adobe servers that have been retired.
