Is is possible to use Dreamweaver CS5 with Flash being phased out?

    Osgood is correct in theory.  But practically speaking, CS5 is 10-11 years old.  There may be some legacy Flash dependencies that we have forgotten about in Acrobat, Bridge, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and possibly InDesign.

    Suffice it to say, anything Flash-based like slideshows, videos, animations, apps, etc... will be unusable when Flash Player deactivates.  If you want to know the full extent of impact, go ahead and uninstall Flash Player and remove your browser add-ons now.  Chances are you'll never miss Flash but don't be too surprised if some things no longer work in CS5.  That's the risk you take with discontinued software.

    Yes. Flash has nothing to do with Dreamweaver CS5. Flash was/is just a programming language that you could use in combination with html. Dreamweaver CS5 is just an editor in which you built applications using different programming languages, one being Flash.
