Dreamweaver CS6 and Sierra

Peace Folks! I work with the Dreamweaver CS6 application on a MAC OSX. I recently upgraded my MAC to the latest version which is called Sierra. After I upgraded to Sierra, my Dreamweaver application cannot be opened because it can't handle the Sierra Java script. Apparently I need Legacy version Java 6SE and Sierra comes with Java 8. Apple support was unable to help in getting me back to the Java 6SE. We tried downloading and installing Java for OS X 2014-001 but that didn't work. Anyone else run into this problem and come up with a solution?  Thanks!

You need to reinstall.  And CS5 is not supported in Sierra.  The installers don't behave as expected.  There are some workarounds but you must use  your Terminal.   See link below.

The Mac Java SE6 Download is here:

I'm not sure if that will work in Sierra though.
