Dreamweaver failure to "Put"

I am using Dreamweaver CS6 v.12.0 for the mac.

I was updating my web pages and everything worked fine.  Next day i came back to continue updating pages and nothing will "put" to the site.  I ran a test and I am making contact with the site.  I am by no means a dreamweaver expert.  I just need it to work.

    • Maybe your server is down.  Can you connect to remote server using Filezilla FTP client?

    • Do you have empty space on your server?  When a server is full it won't accept new uploads. 
    • Have you contacted your web host?
