Dreamweaver false crash report

Have un/reinstalled twice after not being able to reproduce this problem with an Adobe agent and agents have no idea what I am even talking about:

Upon quitting Dw, (no problems during use), I get an error report pop-up "Dreamweaver quit unexpectedly" but it did not. I quit the application!

When I relaunch, Dw loads the last files I was working with even though I close them all out before quitting. Also, if I select Dw to open a file, the file does not open until I quit the program and reopen again.

macOS high sierra 10.13.6 (17G65)

that's an very old problem, have it under CS6
