Question

Dreamweaver Interface needs to be like Indesign

The last DW main interface design that was any good was CS5.5

This is 2021

This is CS5.5 (not great, but much better)

The main system interface needs to be as good as InDesign. There needs to be good contrast.
This is InDesign

Notice how much more comfortable that is on your eyes?

I am urging the developers at Adobe to improve the working interface color and contrast. It will make a major difference in designer and developer use of the program.

Open whichever toolbars and panels you need from the Window Menu.

Window > Toolbars:  Standard, Document and Common.

    Window > Insert

    Window > Properties

    Window > Results > Validation

    Etc...

A lot has changed in 15 years.

Go to Edit > Preferences > Interface. Select a Theme.

Customize your Workspace and save the Workspace Preset.
