Dreamweaver is getting stuck as it starts up, on "Initializing Files"

I am trying to start up Dreamweaver, but it will not load past the boot up screen. It says that it is trying to "Initialize Files", but seems to get stuck there. Any idea what causes this and how I can fix it? 

I have rebooted my laptop, uninstalled/reinstalled the program, and Dreamweaver is up to date.
