Dreamweaver Keeps Crashing when Writing Classes

I know this has already been asked and addressed (https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2306436#9764710), sorta, but I can't seem to get a response in that thread. Furthermore, I've tried several times on several different days to go through the Contact Customer Care page and the only result is ever the community board (there's not even an option to mark Dreamweaver as the product, so I have to select "Creative Suite"). So, I figured I'd try making a new question thread.

So, according to the solution in the thread I posted above, the issue has been identified and patched and is even available to some users that can upgrade their programs early. My "Adobe Creative Suite" says my programs are all fully up-to-date. With that in mind, it's not like I'm demanding the patch or update, but it would be nice to know when to expect it to be released to everyone else. As I mentioned when I tried asking in that other thread, a month and a half ago and this past week, I've been unable to locate anything indicating some sort of release schedule.

This isn't a particularly minor issue for a programmer that writes a lot of modular code. Sure, I can get around it by intentionally causing typos and then fixing them, but that's ridiculous to have to do.

If you're working with MVC and experiencing problems, I suggest you revert to an older version for now.   If history is an indicator, the next release will most likely coincide with the Adobe Max conference in late October.

Thank you, Nancy OShea. I'll keep an eye open for it.

As for reverting, is there an easy method to do that? My installation is entirely via the Adobe Creative Suite installer, which does not appear to have an option to specify a version to have installed.

Just to be sure, the fixes mentioned in the forum post are applicable only to the next version of Dreamweaver CC, and not to previous versions, including those in the Creative Suite. Creative Cloud allows you to move among various versions but with Creative Suite, you do not have that flexibility.

I would suggest going through the solutions in DIY troubleshooting kit for Dreamweaver to see if any of them can help you.

Thanks,
