Dreamweaver Library items will not update on pages

I am having issues with the library items not updating on the pages that they are placed on. I get this in the log:

files examined: 3 files updated: 0

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Proprietary Library Items and DW Templates work well for small sites. But they don't work well on sites with a "ton of pages." That's when things get corrupted. Remove Library Items. Save. Validate code and fix reported errors. Re-insert Library Items.

I've got to be honest with you, there's not much to like about Library Items. Server-side Includes are infinitely more efficient & flexible.

Hi Nancy,

Thank you! I have tried to restore the preferences and I still have the same situation. I would prefer to use the library items, this site has a ton of pages and I really do not want to convert them to php. Just not understanding why the option for library items is availbe if it doesn't work.
