Dreamweaver scroll bars not working

I am using Dreamweaver 21.2 on a MacBook Pro with an Apple mouse. Both of my scroll bars are in the "narrow" mode and they don't work in Live View. In Split View I can scroll the code just fine. Also, the (nonworking) horizontal scroll bar is always present at the bottom of the document window and is blocking some of my content. Help!

I had the same issue and this fixed it

That did it – setting the scroll setting to "always"! Thank you so much.

Which Mac operating system and version #?

Can  you maximize your screen and increase page width to Full screen, Landscape orientation (see screenshot)?

When you hover over the scroll bar are you saying it's not getting wider? Also what horizontal scroll bar are you seeing always present?  I've tried a few sample pages and I am not able to replicate.

Yes, that’s what I am saying. When I hover over it the tool tip usually says “resize column”.

Also what horizontal scroll bar are you seeing always present?
The horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the window.

You don’t want to replicate my misfortune!

Can you post a screenshot of your workspace?
