Dreamweaver Text Slow to update while typing or editing

Question

I am using Dreamweaver CC 2020  20/2  15263 Build
When typing text in either code live or code design, the text refreshing on the screen is unbearably slow to refresh.
For example I will type a letter and it takes almost one second for it to show upo on screen. MOST FRUSTRATING FOR WORK FLOW!
Editing is even worse, as clicking the mouse cursor around text also has a terrible delay attached to it.
I have been using Dreamweaver for years and only in the last week or two has Dtreamweaver text updating to screen become unbearably slow.
Anyone else having this problem?
Looking for some solutions.
