Dreamweaver verändert den Code

Ich arbeite als Dozent und muss immer wieder feststellen, dass Dreamweaver Eingaben nicht richtig übernimmt. Es wird etwas anderes im Code Editor angezeigt als der eigentliche Quellcode. Besonders ärgerlich für Neuanfänger, da diese nicht unterscheiden können, ob der Fehler bei Ihnen liegt oder am Programm.

Wenn man den Fehler von Dreamweaver bemerkt hat und ihn neu startet kann es dazu kommen, dass die komplette Webseite zerstört wird. Das kann dann auch schon mal die Arbeit von Stunden sein.

    That's not my experience.

    • Did you define a local site folder before you began this project?  Site > New Site...
    • Do the site files reside on your primary hard drive, not a networked or cloud drive?
    • Are you working with valid, error-free code?  Window > Results > Validation...

    Can you edit this code in Dreamweaver?

    <!doctype html>
    <html lang="en">
    <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8">
    <title>CSS Media Query Demo </title>
    <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge">
    <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1">

    <style>
    /* Special Rules for small mobiles */
    @media only screen and (max-width: 480px) {
    body {background: navy; color: lightgoldenrodyellow}
    }

    /* Special Rules for large mobiles & tablets*/
    @media only screen and (min-width: 481px) and (max-width:1024px) {
    body {background: antiquewhite; color: navy}
    }

    /* Special Rules for larger devices*/
    @media only screen and (min-width: 1025px) {
    body {background: green; color: yellow}
    }
    </style>
    </head>
    <body>
    <div>
    <h3>Heading 3 ~ Responsive Test</h3>
    <p>Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit. Rem expedita odio, debitis mollitia quod dolores at ipsa corrupti quas numquam assumenda illum, sunt rerum amet consectetur possimus veniam aliquam velit.</p>
    </div>
    </body>
    </html>

    Yes, yes, yes, I have a site, defined on my local hard Drive and the code is valid.

    It happens only some times, so it is hard to tell why this happens. By starting Dreamweaver again, it works.

    I can edit your Code.

    If it works when you restart Dreamweaver, you may be low on memory.

    If the problem recurs, try Restoring Preferences.

    Could you give us an example so that we can duplicate the problem?
