Dreamweaver Version 12 will not start

I am using windows 7. When I try to start dreamweaver all I get is the Dw flash screen then nothing. All windows updates are installed. Any help appreciated.

If Ben's link doesn't help you, I have another thought.

Lavasoft's Web Companion add-on is a known conflict with several Adobe products. Uninstalling Lavasoft & removing related DLL files fixes the conflict. See link below.

I assume you mean CS6 (12.0).

Try Right-Click and run as Administrator.

I would try this KB article first:

JavaScript errors in Dreamweaver

Try deleting the filecache and recreating the user config folder. See if that helps resolve the issue.

If it does not, try creating another user account and see if DW will open for you.
