Dreamweaver Version 21.1 Crashing When Opening "Preferences"

Question

As the title states, the software will crash when attempting to open "Preferences" Edit -> Preferences -> CRASH.

It started happening after the latest update. I have already cleaned the temp files in the registry and resetting the Dreamweaver's systems preferences. Nothing seems to work.

Can anyone expand on the issue, please?

Hi Newton,

Thanks for writing to us. Along-with Nancy's suggestion, can you please try resetting Dw app preferences and see if the issue gets resolved. Also can you please help us with below info so that we can investigate the issue internally.

OS and machine configuration details
Is the crash consistently reproducible on your machine
Is the crash submitted to Adobe from Adobe Crash Reporter dialog which gets invoked after Dw app crashes.

With the above, would it be possible for a remote connect session(details sent in a private message) to debug the issue on your machine as the issue is not observed internally with Dw 21.1 on both Mac and Win platforms.
