Dreamweaver version 21.1 on Windows 10 is very very slow

HI,

I just installed on windows PC, running Windows 10 home, Dreamweaver version 21.1 but I have a problem: the app is very very slow and it freezes.

I can't write anything because any command blocks the app.
Is impossiblr to work.
The last version 21.0 had the same problem.

Can someone help me?

As Nayan said, Restoring Preferences fixes most problems in DW.

Failing that, use the Adobe Cleaner Tool below to remove old software and reinstall DW.

Hi Nancy, I haven't old software.
unfortunatelly, I have only the version 20.0 and 20.1 of Dreamweaver.

I never had any problems with the old versions, it all started with the 20.1 and and now it doesn't work well even the 20.0

Thanks for writing to us. Can you please try resetting Dw app preferences by following the steps mentioned in the below KB article and see if the issue gets resolved with Dw 21.1.

Thank you Nayan but the problem has not been solved.
Today it is impossible to open files, the application goes into the state of "unresponsive" for a lot of second as soon as I click on something.

Thanks for reverting on this. We are unable to recreate the issue internally with Dw 21.1 on Win 10 and hence looks like the issue is machine specific. It would be great if we can have a remote connect session(details sent privately) at convinient time to you for initial investigation on the issue and try resolving the same.

I read the old posts and I set the preference and I deleted the folder "file temporary list" in the register,

but the problem has not been solved.
When I write in code the app slows down.

I'm waiting for ideas.
