Dreamweaver will not retain view settings

Greetings,

latest version of Dreamweaver will not remember my view settings. I set it to split vertical code>design and after closing/opening the app everyhting reverts back to default. Extremely annoying.  Any fixes for this?

    Mine was doing the same thing when I first installed it.

    I fixed it by creating a new workspace under Window > Workspace Layout > New Workspace...

      Thanks for that.

      I created a new workspace, arranged the windows as I like them, saved the workspace, exited DW and on reopen it still defaults to basic layout.
