Dreamwever won't open (Mac Pro Late 2013, Big Sur 11.5.2)

Question

Hi,Since Ugrade to Mac OS Big Sur, Dreamweaver won't open any more on Mac Pro Late 2013 (Big Sur 11.5.2). I'v tried Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool,  I changed the name of the Volumes disks (as readed in some posts), Reinstal on external disk with all other app, even try install on Macintosh HD, Applications tradtional folder (in this case i have a message "Localized resources files could not be loaded. Please reinstall..." but reinstall gives no results. For any other attempts of install, the app icon jumps on the dock until messsage " Adobe Dreamweaver not responding"... Someone can help ? ... :-S

Did you re-install DW after upgrading your OS to BigSur?
Did you restart your computer?
Have you tried Restoring Preferences?

I'had done all of this without success... but I solved the problem just right now in an unexpected way (!) I read about special character in Disk Path. And the problem is there. When updating to Mac OS Big Sur, System Disk (Macintosh HD) were splitted in "Macintosh HD" + a new one called automatically "Macintosh HD - Données" (Probably "Macintosh - Data" in english where it probably causes no problem) and it seems that de 'é' in the word "Données" is the issue. I have changed the name of the System disk frome "Macintosh - Données" to "Macintosh - Data" ... And now Adobe Dreamveaver opens ... finally !!!

Thanks for writing to us. Looks like this is a machine specific issue. Can you please try installing Dw in a custom local folder location and see if the issue is still reproducible.

Steps:

1. Uninstall Dw

2. Launch CCD app, click on User Icon on top-right and select Preferences menu from the drop-down

3. Change App installation path to any custom location on your machine

4. Install Dw v21.1 and launch from custom location (Observe if error dialog is invoked)

In case the issue is still reproducible, please try resetting Dw app preferences and see if this helps.
