Dreamwiever CC (Neueste Version) mit MySQL-Datenbank verbinden

Hallo liebe Adobe Community,

 

ich verwende die neueste Version von Dreamwiever CC und möchte Site entwickeln, die sich mit einer

MySQL Datenbank über eine Login-Maske verbindet. Früher (z.B. Dreamwiever CS6) gab es unter dem Menüpunkt Fenster  "Datenbank"  zum auswählen.

Wenn das nicht zur Verfügung stand, konnte eine Extension "Server Behavoir" oder so installiert werden.

 

Das gibt es wohl für die neueste Version von Dreamwiever CC  wohl nicht mehr.

 

Was kann ich also tun um die Verbindung zur Datenbank herzustellen.

Ich konnte auch bei "Training für Dreamweaver" nichts zu diesem Thema finden.

Für alle Ratschläge und Hinweise bin ich sehr dankbar.

    Old Server Behaviors were removed from Dreamweaver about 10 years ago.

    You will need to purchase 3rd party extensions or code manually.

     

    WebAssist's extension is the closest to former Server-Behaviors.

      To add to @Nancy OShea 's reply, and having used Dreamweavr with both extensions (not at the same time) and being a current Wappler user, the following

       

      WebAssist:

      • MySQLi is very much like the deprecated Dreamweaver behaviour.
      • The latest version dates back to December 2021.
      • The creator, Ray Borduin, has sadly passed away.
      • No news on updated versions.

       

      DMXzone:

      • Deploys a completely different mechanism where the web server communicates with the web browser via an API (Application Processing Interface)
      • Will need at least two exentensions for Dreamweaver, Server Connect and App Connect, both are free of charge.
      • Other extensions may be required, dependant on the application.
