Dw CC 2017 Doesn't Render Workspace on MacBook or iMac

After updating to Dreamweaver CC 2017, I opened it to work on a website I am webmaster over and the workspace loads but does not render the 2 pane layout in code nor design.  It's just a black screen with a white box on the top right (some times both code and design panes are white) where my content should be.  All the menu's are there. I've had to resort to my Windows Lenovo to update the website.  😕😕  Seems like it's a Mac Sierra OS issue.  Anyone else having this issue with Dw CC 2017?

Have you restarted the computer since the update, or done any of the troubleshooting from here: DIY troubleshooting kit for Dreamweaver ?

On my MacBook and iMac, i've restarted, uninstalled, tried to go back to the previous version Dw CC 2015 but it was no longer installed, reinstalled Dw CC 2017 and had the same issues i noted above.  I had not tried the DIY yet.  Something to note:  On my MacBook, I left Dw CC 2017 open with the rendering issues since i'd read in other posts Dw CC 2017 had been extremely slow.  When I got home today and logged in, I closed a .html page that still had the rendering issues.  I opened another .html and it rendered perfectly and another. Not sure why it's taking so long to load, but i'll take it for now. As a result, there may still be an issue with Dw CC 2017 and slow load times or could my internet speed.  I'll close this thread for now, but if it happens again, i'll reopen with more info.  Thanks for the reply and DIY link. I've bookmarked it.

To re-download the older versions of DW, you can open the CC Desktop App and follow the instructions below:

Download and install Creative Cloud apps (scroll down to the Install Previous Versions of Apps section)

You can actually have all 5 versions of DW (CS6 Cloud, CC, CC2014, CC2015 and CC2017) installed at the same time, on the same computers, under a single subscription. They just won't run at the same time.

When you install new versions, and want to keep the older ones installed, you need to click the Advanced Options link at the bottom of the installer dialogue window so you can uncheck "Remove Older Versions". Otherwise, the CC Desktop App will uninstall anything you already have.
