DW CC on High Sierra [Branched from DW CC 2017 does not open]

Same issue here! Mac with Sierra (latest edition)... all CC apps open with the exception of Dreamweaver CC 2017.

Any idea? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, rebooting a couple times. Tried downloading and running that Java link for OS X mentioned above... app icon in dock bounces up & down a couple times or so; nothing opens/launches.

Not sure what else to try? And, why only this application affected?

Thank you.

Was a permissions issue. Used Apple Time Machine to transfer everything to a new Mac. Adobe advise against this and recommend a fresh install of their applications as you never know what other leftover 'junk' may carry over.

In this case the previous computer was under a different name; that caused the conflict. The Library Folder on the Mac had mixed permissions. - Support at Adobe said the packaging content differs for each application; that would explain why all the other CC applications opened just fine, and yet DW was the only app not working.

    All is resolved now.

Owing to your upgrade to High Sierra OS, I have branched this to a new discussion.  The other thread is 10 months old and no longer relevant for this OS.

High Sierra has a number of known bugs that Apple will need to address in coming weeks/months.  Please see this related discussion.

OK, but don't forget, as you saw my last post... It did not work on Sierra first off. Then, I went to Apple Support, who told me to upgrade to the High Sierra.

    1. Use the Adobe CC Cleaner tool to wipe DW CC off your system.

    2. Restart your computer.
    3. Re-install DW CC.
    4. Re-start your computer a 2nd time.
