Question

DW, crashing when uploading

Is Adobe even supporting DW anymore, it seems like ages since it had any sort of update. meanwhile Mac OS gets updated and everytime that happens DW gets more unstable? Has Adobe given up on DW and letting it die a slow death?

Ever since the last few Mac OS updates DW crashes whilst performing the most basic taks like a simple upload of a page (new or modified)

I feel like I'm spending a lot of money for a program that Adobe no longer cares about.

If you are using a Mac you must be using 14.3 or later (current version 14.4.1). There was a bug introduced by Apple in the original Sonoma release that was not fixed and made DW unusable until 14.3.

Since late 2020, Dreamweaver is in minimal maintenance status.  No new features are being added except essential security & compatibility updates.   See below for more details.

AFAIK, Dreamweaver is stable on Sonoma with the latest updates from Apple.  If you're experiencing problems, try Restoring Preferences, it fixes most issues.

Failing that, try using FileZilla s/ftp client to transfer files to/from your remote server.

Adobe CC Cleaner tool to solve installation problems.

    Hope that helps.
