Hi,

I installed the latest OS High Siera and now cant get DW to work. The rest of my apps are fine PS, AI but Dreamweaver fails to start up. I have tried uninstalling it then reinstalling to no avail. Any help would be much appreciated.

Sorry, i clicked the wrong button not answered.

Adobe didn't create this problem.  Apple did by not making their OS backwards compatible with older software.   Windows users have a slightly better experience with legacy software because MS provides some backwards compatibility in Win10.  On the other hand,  High Sierra was a disaster for many Mac users.  Quite a few reverted back to their previous OS.

Have a look at this answer Re: Mac High Sierra

In other words, upgrade to the latest version of Dreamweaver and all is hunky-dorey.

Wappler is the DMXzone-made Dreamweaver replacement and includes the best of their powerful extensions, as well as much more!

    Thanks Ben,

I have not upgraded to other Adobe software as the package I have was really expensive and I know my way around it. It is a real shame that stuff like this is just overlooked by developers.

As you say I may find myself having to upgrade.
