Why can't I login to the server with SFTP in DW cs6 anymore?

    Something may have changed on the server.

    Contact your hosting provider to confirm you're using the correct log-in credentials.  See screenshot.

    Thanks. one.com is my provider, they haven't changed anything on the server.

    I can login with FileZilla, strange

    Oh sure they have.  CS6 is 12 year old software that has not been updated since it came out. 

    In 12 years, your server has had multiple security updates & patches installed -- as required by the industry.

     

    Unlike CS6, FileZilla is constantly updated with latest server security patches.

    It's hard to say what might be going wrong without a little more info. There are a bunch of reasons that might happen. Are you getting any kind of error message when you go to connect? Have you tried with another FTP program like the free Filezilla Client?

    One of the more common and generic "cannot connect to host" issues occurs when a server is upgraded and loses your log-in credentials, it's especially common for hosting companies like GoDaddy. In those situations, the hosting company needs to reset your permissions.

    Thanks for your reply.

    When I try SFTP I get this error in DW - see attached - and when I use FTP in DW no problem.

    I have filled in the login information again...
    I tried Filezilla and it is ok with SFTP and FTP.

    My English is not good, sorry, I'm Danish
