DW2021 and new computer

Question

I am having a problem with DW2021 and a new computer. Set up and installed everything about three weeks ago. iMac, 500MB HD, with the app and the website both installed on that drive. When I attempt to edit a page in the website, I get this pop-up: "contentsXXX.html is a locked file and can be viewed but not changed. What would you like to do with this file?" Can someone direct me to a resolution for this problem? I certainly have not locked any files against myself, and no one else has access to my computer, hard drive, or website.

This is not a Dreamweaver problem. It's a permissions problem at the OS level.

It sounds like your files went to READ ONLY during the migration and remained that way. Consult Apple's documentation about changing permissions on files, folders & disks.
