DW8 Properties Box problems

I wonder if anyone on here can help me,

I recently booted up my copy of DW8 as I want to build a site for some friends but the Property Inspector (the thing on the bottom of the screen for text sizes, etc) acts like it's full of iFrames, it's set as three parts with scrollbars and not easy to read (I've attached a screengrab).

Any ideas on how to get it back to it's normal easy-to-use state please?

Thanks for the palm off with other things without helping me with my problem.

Remarks like this is not very helpful. We are users just like you.

Have you tried the collapsable icon?

Wappler is the DMXzone-made Dreamweaver replacement and includes the best of their powerful extensions, as well as much more!

Due to it's advanced age, DW8 by Macromedia is not Hi-DPI aware and never will be.  It's discontinued and considered obsolete software now.  Thus I don't recommend using it for a modern website.  The code is too outdated to be of any practical use in 2022.

If you reduce your computer's display settings, it might produce better results.  But no guarantees.

My advice is get modern software that's compatible with newer equipment.

Or consider using an online site builder like Wix, WordPress or Webflow.

    1.  This isn't for anything intesive, I am just trying a project out and don't have funds for anything else than the copy of DW8 I have.
    2. Resolution is irrelevant, I've never had a problem like this and I always use 1920x1080p
    3. I do use Wordpress but I didn't want to this time.

Thanks for the palm off with other things without helping me with my problem.

I gave you links to several FREE & low-cost code editors you can try for free.   You're welcome.  😁

Resolution is relevant. DW8 from 2005 was was built for low-res screens on older OS's.  Ask yourself how many times your operating system & display drivers have been updated in 17 years. 😏

I'm not here to defend or disparage DW8.  It is what it is.  Try changing your resolution settings.  If that doesn't help, I don't know what more to suggest.  Sorry.
