dynamic pop up menu - how to?

Question

here's what i want to do:

two pop up menus are next to each other. If i select one of
the items in the menu on the left, the choices in the one on the
right would change. and, when you release each menu the selection
you made remains in view in the menu button.

anyone know how to do that?
