Dreamweaver really isn't a replacement for Wordpress if you are using a CMS.  What Dreamwaever can do is help you edit the backend of your Wordpress website. So it can help you with your theme editing or advanced Wordpress editing.  However, for your individual pages you will continue to use the CMS interface of Wordpress on the web.

I agree with what Ben said. I will simply add that the fact that you are asking this question means that you should stick with WordPress, and Dreamweaver would be of no real use to you.

There are hundreds of thousands of plug-ins that allow you to extend the features of WordPress. With Dreamweaver you would have to have the coding skill to write those features yourself.
