Error 6 when copying CS4 to new PC

All of the old Creative Suite programs are now part of the Creative Cloud and are subscription-based.

The programs themselves still download and install on your local machine, just like the old ones did, but you need a valid subscription to use them. Basically, the program checks every so often to verify you have a subscription. If you don't it deactivates itself and won't allow you into it until you renew.

You still have access to any files you created with it, you never lose access to those as long as you save them locally (I rarely ever use the cloud storage). So you can still open those files in other programs, but you won't be able to use any CC apps if there's no subscription attached (via email and password credentials).
