Question

Experts-exchange.com - Members? Worth it?

Does anybody belong to this site and does it have good solutions? I have
found several questions I'd like the answer to, but really don't know what
the quality of answers is going to be. I can usually find the answer,
but...

Anybody have any input?

depends - i don't have the time AND money to do this. easier to spend time
researching answers myself rather than spend MORE time researching yet
another site that's going to end up being nothing.

everything sounds good on the package or it wouldn't be in the store.
internet marketing is the biggest sham i've ever seen, and don't believe
anything a site promises, only th experiences of it's customers (and no, I
don't take an on-site forum or "testimonials" section as valid input on how
well the site works).

so, i guess i'll decide to look for another spot to dig in.

Excellent input, thanks mate.

What's the point system you're talking about? I be poo and shi', so I don't
want to subscribe, and then have to buy points. Can I earn them? CAN I buy
them, if I need to?

I have been a member for years of Experts Exchange, you earn 5 points per day if I remember correctly, I honestly can not remember how much you earn per day, but as I only ask a few questions every so couple of months, this works for me. Purchasing points will obviously be neseccary if you can not wait for the accumulation of points and need an answer right away.

i swear by it, one of the best investments in years, I usualy offer 250
points for a question and I get a reply within 15 min's, then I progress
there if I didnt ask the question correctly or if i want to delve in deeper
to the question i asked in the first place. but yes it is very very worth it
for me. I usually come here for my dw questions but something complicated re
asp/vb javascript logic etc I will go to experts exchange.

kenny
