Hey fellow developers,

I've recently started exploring the idea of using Dreamweaver to develop APK (Android Application Package) files for my projects. As a web developer, I'm already familiar with Dreamweaver's capabilities for creating websites, and I'm intrigued by the possibility of leveraging its features for mobile app development.

I would love to hear from those who have experience using Dreamweaver for APK development. How has your experience been so far? What are the advantages and limitations you have come across? Are there any particular tips or tricks you can share to make the process smoother and more efficient?

Specifically, I'm interested in understanding how Dreamweaver can be utilized for designing the user interface, integrating functionality, and optimizing the APK performance. How does Dreamweaver handle things like responsive layouts, API integrations, and asset management for mobile apps?

Furthermore, I'd appreciate any insights into the compatibility of Dreamweaver-generated APK files with various Android versions and devices. Have you encountered any challenges in this regard, and how did you overcome them?

Please feel free to share your experiences, recommendations, and any resources you found helpful while using Dreamweaver for APK development. I'm eager to learn from your expertise and insights!

Thanks in advance for your valuable contributions!

Apps developed with Wappler on mobile platforms via capacitor, can be compiled to .apks and if subscribed, deployed directly to the android play store.

Wappler is the DMXzone-made Dreamweaver replacement and includes the best of their powerful extensions, as well as much more!

    Why?

PhoneGap Build is End of Life since 2020.

Dreamweaver is a code editor, not an app builder.

Also DW is in minimal maintenance status. No new features are planned.

If you're breaking into Android Mobile App Development, maybe this will help.
