"Failed to read the contents of XML Resource" [Branched from 2017 topic]

Any new news about this bug? I have eliminated the ssh_hosts file, then sign into the site once. After the first time, the error message comes back. This is ridiculous. I reset preferences also, without any improvement. I'm on Win11.

I've moved this to a new topic as the one you resurrected is from 2017 and not related to Windows 11. 

 

  • Is this a new installation of Dreamwever?
  • Which version of DW?
  • Does your local site folder reside on your primary hard drive?
  • Do you have full read/write/save permissions to files on your primary drive?  If unsure, you can check  properties from Windows File Explorer.
