Favicon appearance

Good morning. I have added a favicon logo to my website. But it looks small compared to other favicon that I've looked. I've used the size that is suggested from the website. Is there a way to make it bigger where it can be seen?

I build my favicon / touch icon in Illustrator at 300 x 300 pixels and then reduce and save, reduce and save in various sizes/types for all different devices.
