Handling of frames in DW8 is really tricky. Do it better in DW9 please.
(Frames are not "out" they are accepted by search engines and cool to use. Also very userfriendly if set up right.)

I frames can inserted in the code but are displayed poorly in the design view. Also add some properties to handle iframes.

As before, please address all feature requests directly to the
Dreamweaver team using the wishform:

They were never "in".

The frames we have in current HTML simply can't be set up right to be
userfriendly. They'll always cause problems that could be easily avoided
by not using frames at all. They are still as evil as they were 10 years
ago and only useful in very rare cases.

Uhhh.
I wanted to help DW to get better, not be commented on frames here. Don't shout at me.
Frames can be really cool, if you use and programm them proper. ( see Mono-Ski.org as an example. All single frames including the Navigation can directly bookmarked. Search engines have rated this site very high. German Google: 3rd place..... and even the discussion Group is scanned by Google.)
Or visit
So come on, do your Job, learn to programm them in a right way and you will love them. TVTV.de a German online TV programm. It uses frames and is No. 1 in Germany - so what? Uncool?

Don't talk about acessibility if you don't know ahat you are talking about. Blind people on the net? Thats only 2% of acessibility!

P.S. I think I am on the wrong place here.

Handling frames is tricky. Period.

Cool to use? Huh?

The effort to set up frames correctly for full accessible and usable web
sites tends to outweigh all the other better solutions.
