Question

File>Print Code produces blank pages

When I use the File>Print Code option in Dreamweaver (v21.3, Build: 15593), the document goes to the printer but blank pages come out.  If my document has two pages, I get two blank sheets.  I have tried sending to PDF and I get the same result.

I could not determine if this is a known or new issue.  Please let me know if additional information is needed.

I use a MacBook Pro, attached is a screenshot of my Mac's About Page for your convenience.

A little simpler method, than making multiple screenshots and printing from a graphic program, would be to just copy and paste the code into a TextEdit document and see if it prints from there.

If it works, I'd try restoring DW's Preferences and see if that changes anything.

Unfortunately if it is a bug, Adobe won't be doing anything about it. They announced a little while back that only OS compatibility patches, security updates and third party libraries are going to be done going forward. No bug fixes and no new features are planned.

    Option 1:

Use the Print Screen key on your keyboard.

Paste into a new document in Photoshop or similar graphics editor.

    Print image from graphics editor.

    Option 2:

View page in browser and select View Source code.  Print source code from your browser (Ctrl/Cmd + P).
