Question

Find all instances where an image appears in my entire website

I have a few images site wide that are certifications and expire at year end. I want to be able to find all instances of where these images are on my entire website of probably 50 pages and replace them with current images.

My question is: is there a way to search the entire site for specific images and not just one page at a time.

Use Ctrl + Shift + F to open basic Find & Replace panel.  See screenshot.

The first question to ask yourself is ... is your site driven by a database... if so, you'll need to check in the database where your image instances are distributed.

Otherwise, if your images are used directly within the HTML of your pages, you simply need to locate them from the assets palette, image tab, in order to locate them in the tree structure of your files (contextual menu, locate in site),

Then, with search in files (Ctrl - Shift - F) having taken care to define (in the entire site), you can search for the exact name of the file (and/or replace it) in your various pages.
