Find and Replace

Hi everyone.

Occasionally I make changes to one of my websites where I don't want to change every page one at a time, so I use 'Find and replace in Files'.

Here is where I have my problem:

I recently wanted to add

For enquiries between 10am and 8pm we will try to reply within a few hours.

to all of my pages. So I took the code:

Invertilt Road, Blair Atholl, PH18 5TE

which is on every page, and replaced it with:

Invertilt Road, Blair Atholl, PH18 5TE

For enquiries between 10am and 8pm we will try to reply within a few hours.

But when I use 'Find and replace in files', nothing gets changed.

I'm sure this has worked in the past or am I doing something wrong?

I've tried this with all the pages open and closed

Correct answer Jon Fritz

Could you take a screen shot of your Find & Replace in Files dialogue window and post it here so we can see the settings?

Chances are you just have something goofed.

Another possibility could be you don't have the site selected in the Files window.
