I would like to design a navigation bar in fireworks and transfer ti to Dreamweaver.

The images transfer but the code does not and the Nav bar does not work as designed.

In Dreamweaver there is no option to insert Image objects.

Fireworks is not in development anymore.  Adobe stopped making it and the outdated scripts for menus have not been updated in many years.   Image based navigation is not user friendly because it cannot be searched, translated or updated easily.

You can make menus with plain HTML text & CSS that looks like buttons.   No images needed.

You can use Flexbox to create the navigation bar as per Flexbox Bar Navigation Demo | CSS-Tricks

The article uses SVG images; you can replace these with your own images.

Wappler is the DMXzone-made Dreamweaver replacement and includes the best of their powerful extensions, as well as much more!

the insert FW menu option was removed... but any way... as far as I remember, it was made using a TABLE concept... isn't it, if so that is not recommanded.

some on this forum will orient you to the Bootstrap compoant... effectively that is a way to go... but there are many other way to handle it, easy and no need of any lib.

please can you tell us more about the visual rendering, because if you use Fw that do mean that it will be more visual than just a classic menu bar?
