Hello,

I'm starting a new project on Dreamweaver but I can't find the option Fluid Grid layout. I've got Dremweaver cc and I have already search for any update but I've the last version.

I'm using a windows 10.

    What version of CC is that you are running?

    Fluid Grids was removed in later versions of CC - CC 2017 and replaced by Bootstrap, which is a more stable approach for producing responsive websites.

    I believe they were still there in CC 2015.

    Fluid Grids are gone.  It was a nice idea in 2012 but it never quite lived up to expectations.   I don't recommend using FGLayouts.  They are not as good as other methods.

    For ease of use, I think Bootstrap is much better than FGLayouts.  And Bootstrap is more than a responsive layout system.  It includes classes for making responsive menus, image sliders, modal windows, tabbed panels and a whole lot more.

    To get started with Bootstrap, go to File > New > Starter Templates > Bootstrap Templates.

    Select one and hit Create button.

    After saving the file, DW creates Asset folders in your Local Files Panel.

    They were dubbed "Legacy Fluid Grid" in a late dot release of CC2014 and remained available, without Design View, through CC2015.

    They were removed from the menu system completely in CC2017.

    @laura,

    If you're editing an old LFGL site there is a way to get Design View back so it can be worked on outside of Live View, and it will work in CC 2017, but creating a new LFGL site is no longer an option.

    While it's probably not the best idea to create a new sites using Fluid Grids, as a subscriber to the Creative Cloud, you could install an older version of DW through your CC Desktop App (CS6 Cloud or CC). Both that old version and the new one can be installed on the same machines at the same time, they just won't run concurrently.
