FTP File Activity is completely inaccurate. Is there a fix?

After uploading large files on a sever and found the 2017 Dreamweaver not useful. It's not accurate uploading files. The biggest issue, is when the bytes are completed, you would think all of your files are uploaded and your done. But in my case, it will run in the background for as much as an hour, I guess uploading invisible files since the bytes have been shown to already been completed.

The File activity will also display a few files it started to upload and then never show any new files or it's progress after. The same with the left bottom corner in the file activity, as it seems to have uploaded the web.config file for hours, as this never changes.

For 2017 I would have hoped for a better FTP options, Maybe something that can measure your upload and download speed and let you know how long the file will take as I don't want to always be glued to a desk, waiting for files in either direction.

Any help or solution to a better program for FTP needs would be welcomed.
